In our language school, special attention is paid to the development of speaking skills, as we believe that the ability to express oneself orally is an integral part of effective communication. To achieve this goal, we use communicative techniques that emphasize the practical application of language in real-world settings.
Classes that include dialogues, discussions, role-playing games and other forms of interaction help develop skills in expressing thoughts in a foreign language, improve pronunciation and learn to communicate in various situations – from everyday to professional.
Communicative methods make the learning process more interesting and practical, promote deep learning of the material, and students, when faced with real language scenarios, actively develop their speaking skills.

Communicative competence is a set of skills and abilities to communicate effectively in a language. It includes not only grammatical correctness and vocabulary, but also the ability to use language in various situations: in everyday life, business, education and other contexts.

Having developed communicative competence means the ability to freely express one’s thoughts, understand and interpret information, participate in dialogues, and interact effectively with others. It also includes the ability to adapt to different audiences and adherence to sociocultural norms of communication.
There are several well-known communicative techniques in the field of teaching foreign languages. Here are some of them:

  1. COMMUNICATION METHODOLOGY (Communicative Language Teaching, CLT):
    • The main emphasis is on communication and interaction in language.
    • Lessons are focused on tasks and scenarios involving real communication situations.
  2. TRAINING methodology (Task-Based Language Teaching, TBLT):
    • Lessons are structured around practical tasks that require the use of language.
    • The goal is to develop the skills necessary to perform specific communication tasks.
  3. Methodology of situational learning (Situation Language Teaching, SLT):
    • Lessons are created according to real situations that can be encountered in everyday life.
    • Students learn to apply language in specific circumstances.
  4. Action-Based Language Teaching (ABLT):
    • Emphasis on using language to perform actions and achieve specific goals.
    • Encourages students to actively interact and use language in practical scenarios.
  5. Method of teaching through games (Game-Based Language Teaching):
    • Using games to learn new words, phrases and grammar.
    • Games promote active participation and create an enjoyable learning environment.
  6. Methodology of integrated learning (Content and Language Integrated Learning, CLIL):
    • Language learning through the study of a specific subject (for example, science, art, theater).
    • Stimulates the use of language in the context of a specific topic or area.

Each of these techniques has its own advantages and can be effective depending on the goals and characteristics of training.
