It is important to note that all our methodologies have stood the test of time and have proven their effectiveness in working with students of different ages and motivations.
The “Lingua Sphere” language school offers courses in English, Russian, Latvian, Spanish, French, Spanish, and German languages. We can also offer other foreign languages upon request.
Language proficiency level is determined by the teacher at the first introductory lesson, as well as through a language test provided online by the school.
As a rule, we recommend choosing a class schedule of at least two classes per week. You are free to choose any time at your convenience in the morning, afternoon, or evening, depending on the course arrangement. For conversation clubs, classes are held once a week in the evenings.
In the “Lingua Sphere” language school, teachers with at least three years of teaching work experience. Qualifications are confirmed by diplomas in philology, bachelor’s or master’s degree in teaching foreign languages, and also – in groups for learning a foreign language for business communication – work experience or a diploma in business specialties. Our teachers are distinguished by high professionalism, enthusiasm for their work, a creative approach in preparing materials, flexibility, and skills in working both individually and in groups with students of different age categories.
Of course! Upon successful completion of the course, students receive certificates,
indicating a certain level of proficiency in the foreign language. At the student’s (or educational project initiator’s) request, we specify on the certificate the successful mastery of the four main skills – reading, listening, speaking, and writing – in percentage terms.

Classes in foreign languages can be canceled or rescheduled without loss of payment up to 3 astronomical hours before the start. This rule does not apply to morning classes. More detailed rules of the language school can be found here.
Yes! For Conversation Club and Group Language Learning courses, your first session is always free (50-60 minutes). For individual lessons, there is a meet-and-greet with the teacher, usually lasting 15-20 minutes, to determine compatibility with the teacher, language proficiency level, course goals, and motivation.
During the course of 30-45 lessons, usually, 2 progress assessments are conducted: one in the middle of the course and one on the penultimate lesson. On the final lesson, course summaries are provided, mistakes are analyzed, and areas needing improvement are discussed. Upon completion of the course, a certificate is issued.
Typically, teachers recommend additional resources such as YouTube channels, articles, or mobile applications for language learning. A list of universal resources to aid in language learning can be found on our website, here.
Yes, we offer classes for children of elementary and middle school age, both in groups and individually. For children over 15 years old, classes are usually held in mini-groups (up to 3 people) or individually. New groups are typically formed in August for the academic year or in summer for intensive courses during summer vacation.
In our language school, we strive to form groups of no more than six people, with groups often consisting of 4-5 individuals. This ensures ample opportunity for active language practice for each student in the group, as the quality of lessons is very important to us.
This depends on the format of the instruction, whether individual or group, and the age category of the students. Children’s classes may range from 30 to 50 minutes depending on age, while adult classes are typically 60 minutes long. All classes are currently conducted online.
During the pandemic, Lingua Sphere language school was forced to fully transition to online teaching. During the year and a half of lockdown, we managed to develop effective methodologies for online learning and successfully adapt to the new realities. Currently, we see that the effectiveness of online classes is no less than that of face-to-face lessons. At the moment, classes at the school mainly take place online, but there are also face-to-face lessons available.
Tuition fees are typically paid once a month for lessons in the current month. An invoice is issued and sent between the 10th and 12th of the month, with payment due by the 23rd of the month. If a lesson or lessons were paid for but did not take place, the payment is transferred to the following month. If a student discontinues their studies (notifying the teacher in a timely manner), but has paid for remaining lessons, the overpaid amount is refunded to the student/initiator of the training.
Based on the goals of our students, we employ various teaching methodologies, but primarily focus on communicative approaches. These methodologies allow for rapid development of speaking skills, expansion of vocabulary, and confident use of the foreign language in real-life situations.
